The Olympic movement on the territory of Western Ukraine – past and present

The seminar was attended by 35 participants from 16 educational institutions and organizations who presented 27 of their scientific achievements. During the presentations, the participants highlighted current issues in the field of Olympic education, showed the importance of various sports, raised the topic of patriotic education of the modern generation by means of Olympic education.

He gave a speech “Patriotic education of children by means of Olympic education in Ukraine”, in which he spoke about innovative forms of Olympic education and the modern conditions of the “Olympic alphabet” as an important method of teaching children, in particular in primary classes. He also characterized the “Olympic Relay” and “Olympic Quest”, because they are one of the most important factors and methods of forming patriotism in children and encouraging them to engage in physical education and sports. In addition, the participants of the seminar had the opportunity to learn about the fairy tale “Olympic Dream”, which describes the development and formation of the Ukrainian champion athlete, which significantly affects the formation of patriotic values ​​in children.

Conducting such seminars is a positive phenomenon in science, because it is thanks to this that scientists are able to find ways to solve current problems on the specified topic.
