Research activities

The national-patriotic upbringing of children is perhaps the most pressing issue in our time. The ideals of Olympic education largely influence their formation of universal, humanistic spiritual and moral values. By implementing the model of Olympic education, it is possible to make the young generation more patriotically conscious. It is aimed at imparting patriotic values and experiences, making young people more aware of cultural and historical past of Ukraine, cultivating a sense of respect and devotion to the Motherland, as well as responsibility for keeping the honor of the state.

Our main task is to create such innovative forms of education that would contribute to the process of raising a versatile, humane, patriotic, and healthy personality, which is the foundation of Ukrainian society. We also aim to improve Ukrainian spiritual culture, shape national self-awareness of young Ukrainians, instill universal human values ​​such as love for the homeland and the desire to integrate Ukrainian culture into the European space while preserving our own national identity.

In the course of our activities, a number of events were carried out. Among them are seminars, webinars, conferences, workshops, and academic research. When organising such events we introduced various innovative forms of Olympic education involving Ukrainian children, schoolchildren, and the youth and promoting Olympic values and a healthy lifestyle. Such activities and projects aimed at popularizing the Olympic movement as a unique phenomenon that has an incredible power to unite people demonstrating that peace, friendship and development are something that unites them all.

It is worth mentioning that the use of various innovative forms increases the level of children’s involvement in regular physical education and sports, which contributes to the development of their humanistic and patriotic qualities, shapes universal values, and provides enough emotional support, especially in the challenging this time.
