Event for children from different regions of Ukraine
Today, at the Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health of the Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, together with the Center for Culture and Leisure, an event was held for children from different regions of Ukraine who were forced to come to our city. The event was held within the framework of the scientific project “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism by means of Olympic education”.
The organizers of the event were associate professor of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sports of the Chernivtsi National University named after Yury Fedkovich, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Chernivtsi region, member of the executive committee of the Olympic Academy of Ukraine Yaroslav Galan and candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Svitlana Duditska.
Before the start of the event, the children participated in the Olympic exercise, which was conducted by candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Olena Moroz. After that, two teams were formed – “Olympians” and “Champions”, in which children and student volunteers of the university took part.
In today’s conditions, motor activity plays a significant role in the development of children, given the current state, they need to be given the opportunity to direct their own energy in the right direction as often as possible, in particular, to accustom them to an active and interesting lifestyle that will help develop physical and moral qualities.
At the end of the event, the children received sweet gifts and an Olympic coloring page, which contains various Olympic paraphernalia, thanks to which the children will have the opportunity to better learn about the development of Olympism in general and in Ukraine in particular.
