International Youth Day event held in Chernivtsi
On August 12, the International Youth Day, an event “Youth for the Armed Forces” was held in Chernivtsi at the Taras Shevchenko Center for Culture and Leisure.
The event was joined by the NGO YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE, which organized an exciting badminton location and held a master class in this Olympic sport. Volunteers of the organization and active youth of Chernivtsi gladly took part in sports activities.
Yaroslav Galan, the head of the organization, PhD in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor, spoke about the success of Ukrainian Olympians at the Paris Games, demonstrated basic training techniques and conducted a warm-up for the participants. This not only inspires young people to lead a healthy lifestyle, but also fosters patriotism through sports.
Olena Platonova, a psychologist of the highest category, spoke to the young people who participated in the event, telling them about the importance of psychological health in difficult times.
She emphasized that an active lifestyle helps to maintain mental balance and strengthen the strength of mind.
The participants were happy to try their hand at badminton, and the best ones received memorable gifts from the organization.
Volunteers not only demonstrated their skills in organizing the event, but also showed how to interact with young people to inspire them to new achievements.
Such initiatives help strengthen our society and make it even stronger and more united!
The event was held within the framework of the project “Development of social and psychological strategies for the adaptation and integration of displaced children in host communities”, implemented by the Carpathian Foundation with the financial support of COFRA on the occasion of the International Youth Day.
