Young athletes discover the possibilities of the BASKETBALL-KTN platform: innovation, team spirit, and European values in action
On October 15, a sports and educational event for young basketball players was held as part of the international ERASMUS+ SPORT project “Delivering a hybrid knowledge transfer network model for basketball engagement and development / BASKETBALL-KTN”, co-financed by the European Union.


The aim of the event was to promote basketball among children and young people, increase physical activity and interest in a healthy lifestyle through the use of innovative educational and training tools developed within the ERASMUS+ SPORT “BASKETBALL-KTN” project, co-financed by the European Union.


The project partner in Ukraine is the public organization “YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE.”
Hennadiy Vodovoz, president of the Chernivtsi Region Basketball Federation, coach of the regional youth sports school and the CHE-BASKET team, emphasized the importance of involving young athletes in innovative initiatives and promoting basketball as a tool for an active and healthy lifestyle.


Yaroslav Galan, PhD in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor, Head of the NGO, presented the platform’s capabilities and structure and registered participants.
The event also featured a basketball master class led by Gennady Vodovoz, while Mykhailo Arseniuk and Oleksandr Bulygin actively helped with the organization, contributing to the formation of a true team spirit!


The participants – young basketball players – received commemorative medals and gifts with the project’s branding.
