A webinar was held for students on the basics of website development

A webinar was held for students. On October 23, Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University students received new innovative knowledge, opening their doors to digital technologies. At the Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health, a “Webinar on the basics of web development for students” was held, which was organized by a public organization. YOUNG. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTH MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE with the support of the administration of the faculty, the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education and Sports, and the Department of Computer Sciences.

The webinar was held as part of the Meet and Code initiative, funded by Amazon and SAP and implemented by Haus des Stiftens gGmbH and TechSoup Europe, together with its partner in Ukraine, the GURT Resource Center.

Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Yaroslav Zorii, as well as Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, assistant Andrii Moldovan, opened the webinar with their welcoming words, emphasizing the importance of integrating modern technologies into the educational process of students.

Head of the public organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Yaroslav Galan, emphasized the importance of programming as a component of the modern world and underscored the fact that such activities have a positive impact on the development of young people, motivating them to acquire new skills that will be needed in the future.

The practice-oriented reports were filled with valuable instructions from highly qualified specialist candidates of physical and mathematical sciences, assistant of the department of computer sciences and front-end developer – Oleksandr Olar, and the head of the web studio “MAXO” Maksym Dudyrev. They shared with the students the key strategies and intricacies of website development. Using the organization’s website as a visual example, the experts demonstrated to students the key aspects and nuances of web development in an interactive manner.

Students, future specialists in physical culture and sports, actively interacted with the lecturers and showed keen interest in continuing their education in the programming field. The webinar impeded them from developing their own projects and improving existing skills.

In a noble atmosphere of community and learning, the event ended with the presentation of certificates of successful participation and commemorative gifts from the organizers and partners of the webinar.
