City of Children’s Dreams event held in Chernivtsi on the occasion of International Children’s Day

On May 31, on the occasion of the International Children’s Day, the City of Children’s Dreams event was held in the Taras Shevchenko Center for Culture and Leisure in Chernivtsi.

The event was organized by the Chernivtsi City Council, the Department of Social Policy of the Chernivtsi City Council, and the Family and Youth Department of the Department of Social Policy.

The public organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE.

Volunteer leaders of the organization conducted an exercise class for children, and the head of the organization, PhD in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor Yaroslav Galan, held a badminton master class.

Children from different regions of Ukraine actively joined the exercise program and enthusiastically tried themselves in this wonderful sport. During the master class, Yaroslav Galan spoke about the peculiarities of badminton, sports equipment, and facilities. The children enjoyed playing this wonderful sport.

The best participants who took part in the master class received memorable gifts and a lot of positive emotions.

The head of the organization noted that the importance of physical activity, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and the popularization of sports is our mission in these difficult times for Ukraine.
