A COMMON CAUSE FOR EDUCATION AND CHILDREN OF THE CHERNIVTSI COMMUNITY

On March 10, a working meeting was held with Iryna Tkachuk, Head of the Education Department of the Chernivtsi City Council.

The public organization “YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE” and the Department of Education have been implementing joint activities for children, schoolchildren and teachers of the city for the third year in a row under a memorandum of cooperation.

Yaroslav Galan, the head of the organization, PhD in Physical Education and Sports, and Svitlana Duditska, a member of the Board, presented the Department of Education with a letter of gratitude for productive cooperation and implementation of important initiatives.

We talked with Ms. Iryna about activities and joint initiatives aimed at enhancing national and patriotic education in future projects.

The meeting summarized the results of 2024, in particular:

The Forum of Educators (October) is an important platform for professional development and discussion of topical issues in education.

A sports and educational event for children from different regions of Ukraine dedicated to the International Children’s Day, an event that united young people around sports, outdoor activities, and European values.

We also outlined plans for 2025, in which we will pay special attention to children from privileged categories. Together we will continue to organize educational, sports and social initiatives to create more opportunities for the comprehensive development of children.
