Seminar for teachers in Chernivtsi: social and psychological adaptation and support for children
On march 14, in Chernivtsi, a seminar for teachers with up to five years of experience on “Social and Psychological Adaptation and Support for Children in Modern Conditions” was held in cooperation with the Education Department of the Chernivtsi City Council and the administration of the combined type preschool education institution (nursery-kindergarten) No. 35 “Vesnianka“.
The event was aimed at discussing current challenges in the field of preschool education, sharing experiences and providing practical tools for effective work with children.
The seminar began with demonstration performances by young taekwondoists under the guidance of Vitalii Kalynychenko, a student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports” at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation.
The participants were welcomed by:
Lyubov Chobaniuk and Iryna Monych, chief specialists of the Department of General Secondary and Preschool Education, emphasized the importance of the seminar’s topic for educators.
Inna Kotsiuban, director of the institution, spoke about innovative projects implemented in the kindergarten and cooperation with the NGO.
Iaroslav Galan, Head of the organization, PhD in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor, spoke about the organization’s activities, implemented projects for community educators, and the importance of patriotic education, environmental awareness, and physical activity of children in modern conditions.
Svitlana Duditska, a member of the organization’s board, PhD in Physical Education and Sports, associate professor, made a presentation on the role of physical activity in children’s development and conducted innovative gymnastics for teachers.
On behalf of the organization, Iaroslav Galan presented the preschool education institution with a certificate of appreciation for cooperation for the sake of children’s future.
Each participant received a certificate for four academic hours (0.13 ECTS credits) from the NGO “YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE.”
The seminar was also held within the framework of the research project of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, “ACTIVE NATION: A MODERN MODEL FOR INCREASING THE LEVEL OF MOTOR ACTIVITY OF SCHOOLCHILDREN AS A STRATEGIC ELEMENT OF THE STATE’S DEFENSE,” in which educators acted as experts.
