Presentation of the fairy tale “Olympic Dream”
On December 22, a presentation of the fairy tale “Olympic Dream” was held at Chernivtsi National University named after Yuri Fedkovich, the author of which is a candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor, head of the scientific topic of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism through Olympic education” Yaroslav Galan.
The “Olympic dream” is the personification of love for the Motherland, devotion to it, and a dignified attitude to the native land. She shows all the traits of a true patriot. This fairy tale perhaps most fully reveals the essence of patriotism, since its main purpose is to show the importance of universal human qualities. The fairy tale embodies patriotic and family values, a historical aspect, in which the question of the history of Ukrainian sports is revealed to some extent, the encouragement of a healthy lifestyle, physical education and sports, the popularization of the Olympic movement and a call to love one’s country, to defend its honor, to be proud of her.
The fairy tale is intended for children of preschool and school age, because, as is known, it is during this period that basic life values are laid down in their minds. The educational nature of the “Olympic Dream” is that thanks to it, a humanistic modern generation will be formed, which under any conditions will show respect and respectful attitude to the state, as well as clearly understand its own civic position and responsibility. It is worth noting that the fairy tale has not only a patriotic nature, but also a family one.
The heroes of fairy tales show us by their own example that perseverance, daily work, discipline, faith in one’s own strength, purposefulness and support of loved ones are the main factors that influence achievements and achievements.
Special thanks to Victoria Gatrych, who took part in voicing the “Olympic Dream” and showed by her own example that the creation of a fairy tale has a positive effect on the younger generation, as it forms their patriotic consciousness.
The guests of honor at the event were the head of the branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in the Chernivtsi region, Ivan Heshko, members of the executive committee of the branch, prominent Bukovyna athletes and coaches, invited guests.
