Environmental event dedicated to the International Day of Youth Solidarity

The environmental event dedicated to the International Day of Youth Solidarity has become an important initiative of active youth in Chernivtsi aimed at promoting a responsible attitude to the environment and uniting for a common future.

April 24 is the International Day of Youth Solidarity. This day was established by the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) and was first celebrated in 1957 as a symbol of the unity of young people in the struggle for peace, rights, freedom, and social justice.

On the occasion of this day, at the initiative of the Family and Youth Department of the Department of Social Policy of the Chernivtsi City Council and the NGO YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE”, an environmental campaign was held – a youth cleanup.

The head of the department, Natalia Sabadash, and the chairman of the organization, PhD in physical education and sports, Yaroslav Galan, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

Yaroslav Galan emphasized the importance of such initiatives that unite young people around common values and foster a responsible attitude towards the environment.

Together, we have shown that solidarity is not just words but concrete actions.

Together, we are making our city cleaner and our society stronger.
