Sports rehabilitation event for children from different regions of Ukraine

On March 30, a sports and rehabilitation event for children from different regions of Ukraine took place in the communal institution “Chernivetska special school No. 4”.

The event will be held on the initiative of the public organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. THE HEALTH MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE, the Council of Young Scientists at the OVA of Chernivtsi Region, the Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health, the Department of Physical Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy and Pre-Medical Medicine of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and the support of the institution’s administration.

The event was attended by: the head of the council of young scientists at the OVA of Chernivtsi region, the head of the public organization MOLOD. SCIENCE. SPORT. THE HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Yaroslav Galan, member of the board of the public organization, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Svitlana Duditska, head of the Council of Young Scientists of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health of ChNU Yana Rotar, head Andriy Korolyanchuk, head coach of the ChNU football team, director Lyudmila Zaremba, deputy director for educational work Viktoriya Tilniak and physical education teacher Tetyana Yakimchuk.

The purpose of the event is to improve the health of children and their general physical condition, encourage them to engage in sports and physical activity, psychosocial support and the formation of nationwide patriotic values.

In the program of the event: exercise for children and psychological training, relay races in various sports, communication and meeting with famous athletes.

Yaroslav Galan spoke about the importance of sports and rehabilitation activities, their influence on the formation of children and their social and psychological adaptation to the educational process and new living conditions. Yana Rotar noted the relevance of respiratory gymnastics in the current conditions.

Taekwondo demonstration performance was presented by Anastasia and Kateryna Pashniuk, students of the “Physical Culture and Sports” specialty.

In the course of the charity event, the children participated in exercises and exercises with elements of yoga, which were conducted by Anastasiya Moroz, a student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health, majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports”.

Young leaders-volunteers from among the students of the Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University joined the event, during which the children felt the team spirit and received positive emotions.

The event will be held with the support of Ciabatta confectionery, videographer Vitaly Shyshkivskyi, Internet provider Intelekt, law firm Kutsak and Partners, videographer Artur Gulpak, web studio MAHO, web studio WEBTOP.

All the participants of the event received commemorative medals and sweet gifts, and balls were awarded by young scientists.
