Charity event “Christmas Ruhanka” for children from different regions of Ukraine

On December 23, the charity event “Christmas Ruhanka” was held for children from different regions of Ukraine. The charity event was held on the initiative of the public organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE and the assistance of the Department of Social Policy of the Chernivtsi City Council and the Department of Family and Youth Affairs of the Department of Social Policy of the Chernivtsi City Council.

The purpose of the charity event is to popularize physical activity, increase patriotic education, socio-psychological adaptation of children, form the basic principles of a healthy lifestyle by creating sports-themed pictures and listening to a fairy tale.

Honorary guests of the charity event were Natalia Frunze, director of the Department of Social Policy of the Chernivtsi City Council, head of the Department of Family and Youth Affairs of the Department of Social Policy of the Chernivtsi City Council, Nataliya Sabadash, head of the public organization “YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE”, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Yaroslav Galan, member of the board, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Svitlana Duditska.

Natalia Frunze congratulated the participants of the event, emphasized that movement is the key to a healthy life and urged everyone to be active and sporty.

Yaroslav Galan noted the importance of holding such events, told the participants about the Christmas carol and the fairy tale “Olympic Dream”, which is the personification of patriotism, the Olympic movement and victory.

Traditionally, the charity event began with the National Anthem of Ukraine.

Demonstration performances were presented by students of the Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, gymnasts, masters of sports in rhythmic gymnastics Valentina Mysliva and Liza Moiseyenko.

Anastasia Moroz, a student of Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, conducted a Christmas party for children. During the exercise, the children received pleasant emotions, positive impressions and a good mood.

Together with young leaders from among the students of the Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, the children participated in the creation of patriotic drawings, including sports-themed ones, which will be given to the defenders of Ukraine as a sign of support and gratitude for their daily work. During this process, the participants had the opportunity to listen to the fairy tale “Olympic Dream”, which tells about the Ukrainian Olympic champion who made our country famous at the international level.

At the end of the event, children from different regions of Ukraine were awarded commemorative medals and gifts.
