Charity event “WE ARE FROM UKRAINE”

On June 3, at the faculty of physical culture and human health of the Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, a charity event “WE FROM UKRAINE” was held, in which children from different regions of Ukraine took part. The charity event was held with the support of the university administration, the faculty of physical culture and human health, the department of physical rehabilitation, occupational therapy and pre-medical care.
Since the young generation needs physical and moral support due to modern problems, the charity event is aimed at spreading the principles and principles of physical education, leading an active healthy lifestyle, increasing physical activity among children, which in turn can fight the symptoms of stress and tension, improve the general physical condition , as well as to ensure the moral education of children, to instill in them love for their native land, pride for it, and to raise conscious citizens of a powerful state. Our goal, as senior mentors, is to protect children, to ensure positive and joyful living conditions for each of them.
The action took place as a result of the activity of the scientific project “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism by means of Olympic education” with the support of our public organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORTS. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE.
Honorary guests of the charity event were Rector of the Chernivtsi National University named after Yury Fedkovich, Professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Roman Petryshyn; Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health of the Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Yaroslav Zorii; head of the department of physical rehabilitation, occupational therapy and pre-medical care, doctor of medical sciences, professor Lidia Dotsyuk; candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor, master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics Olena Moroz; candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Svitlana Duditska; deputy dean for scientific work and international relations, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Larisa Balatska; Olga Dolzhenko, representative of the Municipal Children’s Clinical Hospital.
The organizer of the event, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Yaroslav Galan emphasized the importance of physical activity and physical culture not only for the health of children, but also for the formation of patriotic values ​​in them.
The rector of ChN University named after Mr. Yu. Fedkovich Roman Petryshyn, who drew attention to the fact that such measures play an important role in our time and have a positive effect on the physical and moral condition of children.
Olha Dolzhenko has proven that this type of event contributes to the fight against diseases and ensures progress in children’s interest in their own state of health, as well as allows maintaining and improving it.
During the charity event, a moment of silence was observed for all the dead. The National Anthem of Ukraine was also played.
Demonstration performances were presented by students of the 1st year of the specialty “Secondary education. Physical culture” from cheerleading.
Artistic gymnastics master of sports Olena Moroz conducted a patriotic flash mob with Ukrainian flags with the participants, which gave them countless emotions and smiles.
Candidate of Sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Svitlana Duditska conducted sports relays for the participants, during which the children had the opportunity to demonstrate their own physical training.
During the charity event, representatives of the department of physical rehabilitation, occupational therapy and pre-medical care held a presentation on phytotherapy with a tasting of healing teas with general strengthening and tonic effects. In addition, students of the specialty “Physical therapy, occupational therapy” conducted a massage master class aimed at normalizing muscle tone, which is important for children and their bodies, as well as for rehabilitation after injuries.
All participants were awarded with commemorative gifts and medals, which shows that each of them is already a winner and deserves the biggest victories.
