Charity event for children with elements of various sports

On September 23, a charity event for children with elements of various sports was held at the base of Chernivtsi preschool education institution No. 51 “Lelechenya”.

The event is timed to the International Day of Peace and the All-Ukrainian Preschool Day.

The charity event was held on the initiative of the public organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTH MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE and the assistance of the Department of Education of the Chernivtsi City Council and the institution’s administration.

The purpose of the charity event is to popularize various types of sports, increase physical activity among children, improve their general physical condition, and form patriotic values, which consist in raising conscious young Ukrainians.

The guests of honor at the charity event were Lyubov Gavrilova, head of the preschool education sector of the Department of Education of the Chernivtsi City Council; head of the public organization “YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE”, head of the scientific project “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism by means of Olympic education”, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Yaroslav Galan; Svitlana Nikolaychuk, head of ZDO No. 51 “Lelechenya”; candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Svitlana Duditska; administrators of the “Ciabatta” confectionary, Khrystyna Grek and Natalka Kohanyuk.

Yaroslav Galan told preschoolers the basic basic concepts of various types of sports, familiarized them with the history of their creation, noted that sports are one of the important factors of patriotic education, talked about the benefits of sports and encouraged children to do morning gymnastics together with their parents, visit sports sections and groups, and also gave thanks to the Chernivtsi Preschool Education No. 51 “Lelechenya”.

Also, during the event, innovative forms of Olympic education were presented as part of the scientific project “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism by means of Olympic education”, namely “Olympic Quest”, “Olympic Puzzles” and the fairy tale “Olympic Dream”.

Demonstration performances for preschoolers were presented by young gymnasts of the “Phoenix” sports club under the guidance of coach Anastasia Humeniuk.

Volunteers of the event were students of the specialty 017 “Physical culture and sports”, who showed themselves as real specialists and demonstrated the skills and abilities they acquire during their studies at the university.

During the event, a peace movement was held, led by Svitlana Duditska. During the exercise, the participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the elements of various sports.

Alla Khantulina, a physical education instructor of ZDO No. 51 “Lelechenya”, conducted relay races in various sports, during which preschoolers showed team spirit, their dexterity and speed, and also tested their own strength.

The event was held with the support of the Olympic Academy of Ukraine, which is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year.

The event was held with the support of partners: confectionery “Ciabatta”, Internet provider “Intelekt” and the company “Morshinska”. Thank you for supporting natural Morshynskа.

At the end of the charity event, all participants received commemorative gifts.
