Charity volleyball master class “WE – UKRAINIANS”

The volleyball master class was held as part of the scientific project “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism by means of Olympic education” on the initiative of the Public Organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. THE HEALTH MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE and the Volleyball Federation of Chernivtsi Region The event was held with the support of the confectionery “Chiabata” and the bakery-confectionery “Nikonova”, and the company “Morshinska” became the general sponsor.

Honorary guests of the event were the head of the research department, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences Alla Angelska; Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Human Health of the Yuri Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Yaroslav Zorii; Chairman of the Volleyball Federation of Chernivtsi Region, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Ivan Vaskan; Hrystyna Grek and Victoria Valik, representatives of the “Ciabata” confectionary; Galina Nikonova, representative of Nikonova Bakery and Confectionery; master of sports in volleyball, the best libero of Ukraine Tetyana Rotar; head of the Public Organization “YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE”, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Yaroslav Galan; candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Svitlana Duditska.

Yaroslav Galan told the participants of the charity master class about physical activity among children, popularization of sports and a healthy lifestyle, popularization of volleyball and activities in this sport, improvement of general physical condition, education of nationwide patriotic values, and also familiarized them with the program of the event, which included movement with elements of volleyball, volleyball relays and a master class on technical elements of volleyball.

Demonstration performances for the participants of the event were prepared by representatives of the “Phoenix” sports club under the leadership of coach Anastasia Gumeniuk.
Tetyana Rotar and Anna Biletska held an exercise with elements of volleyball, thanks to which the participants got a lot of positive, fun emotions. Later, volleyball relays began, during which each of the teams showed their common sportsmanship, their own abilities and skills.

Women’s national volleyball team of ChNU named after Y. Fedkovych held a master class on volleyball, during which the participants could compete and learn basic information about this sport, familiarize themselves with technical techniques.

At the end of the event, all participants received commemorative gifts from the Ciabata confectionery and the Nikonova bakery and confectionery.
