August 19, a charity swimming master class was held for children from different regions of Ukraine.
The charity master class was held with the assistance of the Velikokuchuriv rural territorial community of the Chernivtsi region in the “DOLPHIN” children’s pool. The activity was organized within the framework of the scientific project “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism by means of Olympic education” and the Public Organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE.
The purpose of the charity master class was to increase physical activity among children, popularize a healthy lifestyle and generally swimming as one of the main factors in improving the general physical condition, as well as education of national and patriotic values.
The charity master class was held with the support of the Internet provider “Intelekt”, the administration of the children’s pool “DOLPHIN” and the professional videographer Vitaly Shyshkivskyi, as well as the company Morshinska.

The program of the event consisted of the history of swimming, demonstrations by athletes, advice from qualified coaches and gifts.
The guests of honor at the master class were the head of the department of education, culture, youth and sports of the Velikokuchuriv rural territorial community of Chernivtsi region Lyudmila Nastasiichuk, the director of the Internet provider “Intelekt” Oleksiy Tykhenkyi, the directors of the children’s pool “DOLPHIN” Serhiy and Natalya Neshpil, the head of the public organization “YOUTH . SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE” Yaroslav Galan.
Yaroslav Galan noted that the future of our country in this difficult time depends not only on us, but also on our offspring, who we must raise in the spirit of patriotism, love for the Motherland, as well as healthy habits, an active lifestyle, regular physical and motor activity , which has a very positive effect on the child’s body. He also noted that swimming is one of those sports that develop the aforementioned physical qualities, it allows you to maintain health, get rid of diseases and prevent their occurrence, maintain a healthy state of the whole body from an early age, and told the participants about the history of swimming.
During the master class, students and graduates of Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, Kateryna Chobanyuk, Vladyslav Puliska, who are currently professional swimming coaches, and Valery Guz, conducted a warm-up with swimming elements and demonstrated various techniques of this sport. Demonstration performances were also held for the participants of the event.
All participants received gifts, pleasant impressions from the master class, learned interesting information and tried their hand at a new sport for themselves, and children living in the community received certificates for visiting the children’s pool from Serhiy and Natalie Neshpil.
