Charity fencing master class for children from different regions of Ukraine


The purpose of the charity master class is to introduce the basics of fencing, increase motor activity among children, improve the general physical condition, encourage a healthy lifestyle, as well as the formation of national and patriotic values, which will allow to raise a versatile, humane, patriotically oriented, healthy personality.
The charity master class began with a moment of silence for all fallen compatriots and the National Anthem of Ukraine.


The master class was attended by honored guests, namely the head of the department of education, culture, youth and sports Lyudmila Nastasiichuk; the director of the Godyliv institution of general secondary education of grades I-III of the Velikokuchuriv village council, Marta Golovryak; candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor of Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, candidate of master of sports in fencing Svitlana Duditska; head of the Public Organization “YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE”, head of the scientific project “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism by means of Olympic education”, candidate of sciences in physical education and sports, associate professor Yaroslav Galan.


Yaroslav Galan noted that fencing is one of the most interesting and at the same time difficult sports, which requires great physical qualities, attentiveness, logic, and also introduced the participants to the history of this sport.
At the beginning of the event, participants were introduced to the history of fencing. A demonstration performance for the participants of the master class was presented by Taisia Vyshivan, a student of Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University majoring in “Physical Culture and Sport”, candidate for master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics.


Young fencers also demonstrated the technical techniques of fencing to the participants, which allowed them to immerse themselves in the real atmosphere of this sport.
During the event, all participants took part in a movement with elements of fencing, which was conducted by candidate for master of sports in fencing Svitlana Duditska.
Later, participants had the opportunity to take part in sports relays and compete for the title of the fastest, most agile, most durable team.
At the end of the event, each participant received a certificate certifying participation in the event and commemorative bracelets with symbols of Ukraine in memory of the master class.


The event was held with the support of the accounting company “Unona”, the bakery and confectionery “Nikonova”, the confectionery “Ciabatta”, the law firm “Kutsak and Partners”, the Internet provider “Intelekt” and the company “Morshinska”. Thank you for supporting natural Morshynska and Olympic Academy of Ukraine.
