Charity tennis master class for children from different regions of Ukraine

On October 28, a charity tennis master class for children from different regions of Ukraine took place on the tennis courts of the Chernivtsi Regional Children’s and Youth Sports School.

The charity master class was held at the initiative of the public organization YOUTH. SCIENCE. SPORT. HEALTHY MOVEMENT OF UKRAINE and support of the Chernivtsi Regional Children’s and Youth Sports School.

The purpose of the charity master class is to increase motor activity, improve the physical qualities of children and their general well-being, familiarize them with tennis and master the rules of playing this sport, which in turn helps to educate nationwide patriotic values.

The National Anthem of Ukraine was traditionally played at the beginning of the master class.

The program of the event consisted of familiarizing the participants with the history of tennis, the rules of the game and a master class within the framework of the scientific project “Innovative model of implementation and formation of children’s patriotism by means of Olympic education”.

Yaroslav Galan addressed the participants of the event with information about tennis, its important influence on motor activity, health status. He noted that movement is a component of a healthy and happy life, urged the participants to play tennis and improve their physical qualities.

The event was attended by senior coach Natalia Viligorska, coach Yury Kostyukhin, coach Valeriya Rusanova, who received thanks from the organization. Oleksiy Kalyniuk, a candidate for master of sports in tennis, became the guest of honor.

At the beginning of the event, Valeriya Rusanova, a graduate of the “Physical Culture and Sports” specialty, coach Valeriya Rusanova, held a workout for children, and candidate for master of sports, multiple champion of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kalynyuk, held a professional master class in tennis.

During the event, children had the opportunity to play tennis with coaches, learn new and interesting techniques of this sport and feel like real athletes.

The participants of the master class were awarded with commemorative gifts and medals.

The event was held with the assistance of the Olympic Academy of Ukraine
