Environmental event “Clean Ukraine”

In today’s conditions, the issue of ecology is one of the most important. Pollution of nature, careless treatment of it, neglect of the basic rules of ecology have a detrimental effect on the general state of life and the environment. From childhood, we must instill in young citizens a respectful attitude towards nature and responsibility for it. We need to set the right example for children and encourage and encourage them to preserve the environment. In this regard, we propose to hold an environmental garbage collection event “Clean Ukraine”, during which the territories will be cleaned. The event is timed to the World Day without plastic bags, which is celebrated annually on July 3.

We ask you to assist in holding the event by involving teaching staff, schoolchildren and immigrants who currently live in educational institutions of our city. From our side, there will be involvement of youth, scientists and athletes who will be able to participate in this event.

We propose to hold the environmental event “Clean Ukraine” in the adjacent territories of the park “Zhovtnevy” in the city of Chernivtsi. The action will take place with the commemoration of all those who died in the war and the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine.

In the event of an air alert, event participants will receive information on the location of shelters closest to this area.
